1. These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [SELLER NAME], [COUNTRY] (“we”), for using Ledgerline. By creating an account you accept them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

2. What Ledgerline is

A personal finance workspace for recording and understanding your own money. It does not move money, connect to your bank, or give financial, tax or legal advice. The reports and the AI advisor are information to help you think, not recommendations; check anything important before acting on it.

3. Your account

  • Give a real email address you can receive mail at; we confirm it before the account opens.
  • Keep your password and PIN to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account; tell us at once if you think someone else has used it.
  • One person, one account and one workspace.

4. Plans, the trial, and billing

  • Every new workspace has 14 days of Pro, free, with no card. After that it is on Free unless you subscribe.
  • Free includes 2 accounts, new entries dated within the last 12 months, and 20 advisor messages a month. Pro removes those limits and includes 500 advisor messages a month. The current prices are on the pricing page.
  • Paddle is our merchant of record. When you subscribe you buy from Paddle, which takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT and issues the invoices. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the purchase.
  • A subscription renews automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for. [REFUND POLICY].
  • If a renewal payment fails, Pro stays for 14 days while it is retried, then the workspace moves to Free until it is paid.
  • Moving to Free never deletes or hides anything. Past a limit, you cannot add new things beyond it (a third account, an entry older than the window), but everything already there stays yours to see, edit, delete and download.
  • If we change a price, we tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal after that.

5. Your data

  • What you put in your workspace is yours. We use it only to provide the service to you.
  • You can download all of it at any time, on every plan, and delete your account whenever you like.
  • We take care to keep it safe (see Security), but keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose; the download is there for that.

6. Fair use

Do not use Ledgerline to break the law, to store someone else's data without the right to, to attack, overload or probe the service, to get around its limits, or to resell it. We may limit or suspend an account that does.

7. The service

We work to keep Ledgerline available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We may change or improve features; if we remove one that a paid plan depends on, we will tell you first.

8. Ending

You can stop at any time by deleting your account. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms; except where the law or security requires otherwise, we will warn you first and give you time to download your data.
